We are a team of coaches, part of the nowheregroup of companies, who are highly skilled at working simultaneously with individual, team and organisational needs and benefits. We bring to our clients a depth of experience in leading and catalysing change in commercial and public sector organisations. Alongside core consulting and coaching expertise, we also each bring significant commercial experience as well as a specialist background in psychology or a counselling-related discipline.
We are committed to the delivery of value to organisations and apply clear criteria when selecting, developing and internally accrediting our coaches in breakthrough coaching. All of our coaches benefit from formal supervision, and are registered with one of the following organisations:

As well as being top-class coaches, our team includes the UK's leading practitioners in systemic constellations, a ground-breaking method of releasing the creative potential of systems. Our team have also taught coaching and management at various world-class institutions including Ashridge, Bath University Management School (CARPP), Cranfield, Henley, the Tavistock Institute and University of London.
SUE ABBOTSON is a systemic executive coach and a co-founder of nowhere and Principal of the nowhereacademy. She works across all sectors connecting leadership development, culture and organisational change. Previously, she worked in a variety of sectors including researching and lecturing for Business Schools in the UK, working as a manager in Local Government and and as a Director of Bath Consultancy Group where she specialised in whole system change. She has a PhD in Management.
MARI DAVIS is a leadership development consultant, executive coach and an associate of breakthroughcoaching. With over 20 years of management and consultancy experience, she is passionate about the public sector and the possibility of improving the lives of people in local communities. Previously, she was head of HR and OD for Devon County Council. She trained in coaching with both the Tavistock Institute and the nowherefoundation.
JUDITH HEMMING is Director of the nowherefoundation, a senior executive coach and supervisor, and a pioneer in applying phenomenological and systemic approaches in wider social systems over the last 15 years, including coaching and constellations in an organisational context. She coaches and runs workshops and training programmes for blue chip companies, government and educational sectors in the UK, Europe and the USA. Her previous background was in education and Gestalt psychotherapy, and she has an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
JO HOWARD is a leadership development consultant, senior executive coach and an associate of breakthroughcoaching. She works with senior teams and leaders embarking on major change, helping them unlock the energy and passion latent in themselves and their organisations. Seventeen years at Board level have given her unique insight into the factors that help and hinder top team performance. Before becoming a consultant, Jo was head of strategic communications for W.H. Smith Retail and a director of Waterstone's Booksellers. She gained an MBA with Distinction in 2001.
TERRY INGHAM is Managing Director of the nowherefoundation, a co-founder of breakthroughcoaching and an executive coach and trainer whose primary focus is on innovation in service and business process. Passionate about helping people to develop their potential - and their ideas - he has 19 years experience of working in both commercial and public sector organisations as a manager, consultant and coach. He has an MA in Education and is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development
PETER McCOWEN is a management consultant, executive coach and associate of breakthroughcoaching with over 30 years experience of the private, government and voluntary sectors. His approach is both solution focussed and systemic, enabling clients to overcome obstacles, achieve outcomes and increase whole enterprise agility. He has worked at the Tavistock Institute, and run two management training organisations, one in England and one in France. He has a B.Sc. in psychology, conducted post graduate research in psychometrics, and been trained in Gestalt psychotherapy.
EDWARD ROWLAND is a registered systemic executive coach and co-founder and Programme Director of breakthroughcoaching, with over 13 years experience of helping leaders, teams and organisations to release their creative potential. He has Masters degrees in History and Law, and his work also integrates prior trainings and experience as a Barrister, theatre actor/director, and therapist working in private practice and various clinical settings. He has worked for a host of international companies, UK government departments and charities.
ANNE SHEARMAN is a leadership development consultant, senior executive coach and an associate of breakthroughcoaching. She is passionate about combining systemic and emotional intelligence approaches to individual and team coaching. She has consulted to large corporates for the last fourteen years. Previously she was an internal consultant and OD manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers. Prior to that she had a career in comprehensive schools, latterly as a deputy head. She has an MSc in Organisational Behaviour and a counselling diploma.
MARK STANLEY is an executive coach and business adviser who specialises in playing a mentoring role to business start-ups and development consultancies. His work draws on his background as a CEO who built, developed and sold a publishing company - taking it from an innovative family business to a profitable international operation with a key share in all relevant markets. He has also trained in a number of development approaches over the last decade including Gestalt, systemic organisational constellations, and the assessment and coaching of emotional intelligence. RICHARD WALLSTEIN is Director of the Centre for the Study of Intimate and Social Systems (CSISS) and a senior executive coach and supervisor, who consults to both global and small businesses. His coaching generally has two components: personal and organisational. He works with clients to dissolve their blockages and to align with components which enable the person to flow in their work to the benefit of their organisation. Previously, he was Head of Product Development at BUPA and a consultant at Butler Cox PLC. He has BA, MA and PhD degrees in psychology, and is a chartered psychologist.
